Kathmandu. Despite the increasing war tension in the Middle East, the government has suspended labor approval for foreign employment in some countries, but more than 52,000 Nepalese have gone abroad in the month of February. According to the Department of Foreign Employment, a total of 52 thousand 944 people have taken labor approval and re-labor approval in February. Among them 46 thousand 452 men and 6 thousand 392 women.

According to the data, 28 thousand 383 people have taken work permit for the first time, while 24 thousand 561 people have taken work permit again and gone abroad. Meanwhile, due to the increased security risk in the Middle East due to the war between Iran, the US and Israel, the government has temporarily suspended the approval of labor in the Gulf and some other countries. 17 days have passed since the start of the war and Iran is launching missile and drone attacks on US military bases in various countries. This has raised concerns about the safety of Nepali workers in UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain.
