The passport department will remain open even on holidays
Kathmandu. The passport department will continue its services even on public holidays. Through a public notice, the department has announced that although today and tomorrow are public holidays, the department will remain open for work such as passport distribution.
The government has declared a public holiday today on the occasion of Gyalpo Lhochar and tomorrow Thursday on the occasion of Democracy Day. The department will be open from 10 am to 1 pm on both days.
The department said that it will provide passport distribution services today. Similarly, on Thursday, the application form for the passport will be collected. The department has made it clear that the office will be open even on public holidays as it is an essential service.
