Main News Image

Kathmandu. Nepal Water Industry Federation has decided to increase the price of treated drinking water. According to the federation, the increase in the price of raw materials and the increase in transportation costs have made it impossible to operate the industry at the same price.

According to the press release issued today, the price of raw materials such as bottles, caps, wrapping rolls, jars and jar caps has increased by about 40 percent. In addition, it is said that due to the increase in the price of petroleum products, the cost of transportation has also increased. According to the federation, Nepal's water industries have been directly affected due to the instability in the world market, especially Iran-Israel and Iran-US relations.
