The armed forces made an operational policy to make the elections fearless

Kathmandu. The Armed Police Force has formulated an operational policy to conduct elections in a transparent, fair and fear-free environment. In a press conference in Kathmandu on Friday, the Armed Police Force said that the Armed Police Force Nepal's operational policy has been formulated for security work in the House of Representatives Election 2082.

It is mentioned in the policy that they will be mobilized in the assigned responsibilities in all the constituencies, mobilized in coordination with other security agencies in the second circle of security for election security, prepare a curriculum related to election security training and give election security training to all armed police personnel before being deployed in the election.

Likewise, information officer and spokesperson of Armed Police Force, DIG Manish Thapa informed that a policy has been formulated to play a supporting role in enforcing the election code of conduct, prepare provincial and district maps with constituencies and mark important places for election security and deploy them effectively.

He said that they will be deployed with necessary equipment and vehicles from a month before the election.
