Social media will be monitored with the help of the Nepali Army

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has said that it will monitor social media during the upcoming House of Representatives elections with the help of the Nepali Army. Sagun Shamsher Jabara, commissioner of the commission, informed the social media monitoring system during the discussion about the code of conduct with the parties.

According to him, foreign assistance has also been received for social media monitoring. Jabara said, "In the election, we have received help from abroad with goods for social media monitoring." We also look through Nepali army tools. Nepali army has the strongest tools in Nepal.

According to the commission, the candidate who violates the code of conduct will be asked for an explanation at the beginning. Jabara said that if the explanation is not satisfactory, action will be taken.
