Former Chief Minister Sharma expelled from CPN

Kathmandu. The Nepali Communist Party CPN has expelled the former Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Rajkumar Sharma, not even being an ordinary member of the party. The Central Committee meeting held on January 26 decided to remove Sharma from the party membership. According to the decision, he has been released from all responsibilities including the Central Committee.
Similarly, the Karnali Province Parliamentary Party of CPN has also started the process of removing Sharma as a member of the Provincial Assembly. Chief Whip of the Parliamentary Party, Krishna Jisi, has said that a letter has been sent to the Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly informing that Sharma has been expelled as a member of the Provincial Assembly. According to him, in the letter sent to the secretariat, it is mentioned that Sharma is involved in activities contrary to the party's policies, principles, objectives and conduct. It is said that he was removed from the party membership on the same basis.
