Seven people died during mountain climbing, difficult to bring Tiwari's body

Kathmandu. In the spring of 2026, seven climbers and guides have died while climbing mountains including Mount Everest. According to the tourism department, two of them are Indian climbers. Two Indian climbers died while returning after successfully climbing Mount Everest. According to the tourism department and liaison officer at the base camp, the deceased are Indian citizens Arun Kumar Tiwari and Sandeep Aare.

Similarly, 35-year-old Vijay Ghimire has already died between anchor number 2 and 3 of the fixed route towards the first camp through the Khumbu Icefall road. Tag Nepal Prlika Mountain Guide Ghimire of Dudhkunda Municipality-7 of Solukhumbu died.
