Kathmandu. After religious and social harmony started to be disturbed, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a 10-point directive circular to all 77 district administration offices. The Chief District Officers have been instructed to immediately bring anyone involved in illegal activities under the legal ambit and to proceed with the process of action.

In the circular, it has been asked to coordinate with political parties, religious and social leaders to promote harmony, conduct strict checks in border areas and conduct awareness programs through local languages. In addition, the Home Office said that a 'District Peace and Social Harmony Committee' will be formed in each district under the coordination of the Chief District Officer.
