RSP requests the government to speed up the rescue and relief of the flood victims

Kathmandu. Expressing grief over the loss of life and property caused by floods, landslides and inundation in various parts of the country due to incessant rains, the National Independence Party (RASP) has requested the government to speed up rescue, relief and rehabilitation work in the affected areas.

Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of the National People's Party of India, through a statement issued on Sunday, expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the disaster. Also, the injured are wished for speedy recovery.

RSWP has expressed its gratitude for the government's preparedness for disaster risk reduction and the rescue work being done by the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and other security and rescue agencies.
