Rato Machhindranath's Rath Yatra will be completed on Saturday after voting

Kathmandu. The Ratha Yatra of Rato Machhindranath, which is about 1,600 years old and is known as the longest cultural and religious festival of Nepal, will be formally completed on Saturday after the voting in the presence of the head of state. Santosh Khadka, Ward President of Lalitpur Metropolitan City (4) informed that preparations are being made to show the votes at the Lalit Mandap at Jawalakhel and informed that the preparations have reached the final stage.

In the Ratha Yatra, which started from Baisakh Shukla Pratipada, the idol of Lord Rato Machchindranath was seated on a 32 cubits high chariot and was circumambulated through Pulchok, Mangalbazar, Sundhara, Lagankhel, Kumaripati to Jawalakhel. At the same time, Ward President Khadka informed that there is a trend of voto demonstration on the fourth day after the chariot is taken to Jawalakhel.
