Ramechhap's bus accident and the post-mortem of the deceased could not be done

Ramechhap. The post-mortem of the person who lost his life in the bus accident that happened on Tuesday in Tamakosi river in Manthali Municipality 6 of Ramechhap has not been done even till Wednesday morning. The postmortem work could not proceed because the demand of the victim's family could not be addressed because the former bus operator Arani Transport Pvt.

"The people of the committee have not come in contact, at least if they had clearly stated what kind of support they can provide to the families of the deceased and injured, the further process would have proceeded," Manthali Municipality Chief Lab Shrestha said.

The local administration had a discussion with the relatives of the victims till late on Tuesday night. The negotiations were ended as the locals insisted that the issue would not be resolved until the representative of the transport company was absent. Due to the fact that the company's officials did not come, further discussion could not proceed even today. Relatives of the deceased are stranded in Manthali market. Out of the 12 people who lost their lives in the accident, 8 bodies have been kept in Manthali Nagar Hospital's post-mortem room, while 4 bodies have been kept in Ramechhap Hospital.
