Putin says - Europe has shown the will, cooperation in oil and gas supply is possible
Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia is ready to cooperate in oil and natural gas supply if European countries give a clear and positive signal for cooperation. He expressed the opinion that long-term, stable and cooperation free from political pressure would be beneficial for both parties. Speaking at an event, President Putin noted that Russia is open to long-term and sustainable cooperation with European companies and energy buyers. He said that Russia has not rejected cooperation related to energy supply in the past and is willing to continue cooperation based on mutual interests in the future.
This statement of his has come amid the growing tension in the Middle East region and due to that, the sharp increase in the price of crude oil in the international market. According to analysts, this type of regional conflict is likely to increase instability in the global energy market, the impact of which can be seen in various regional economies.
