President Paudel summons parliamentary session for Baisakh 28
Kathmandu — President Ramchandra Paudel has summoned sessions of both houses of the Federal Parliament for Baisakh 28. According to a statement issued by Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson for the Office of the President, the sessions of both houses have been called to meet at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Federal Parliament Building in Singha Durbar.
President Paudel summoned the session in accordance with Article 93, Clause 1 of the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, dated Baisakh 22. The government had earlier today decided to recommend to the President that sessions of both houses of the Federal Parliament be summoned.
