Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel is going on a visit to Qatar today. Paudel is going to Qatar to participate in the "Second World Summit for Social Development" to be held in Doha from October 18 to 20. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he is going to leave on Monday to participate in the conference, leading a 12-member Nepali delegation at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.
President Paudel will address the main session of the conference on October 18. It is believed that the conference, which is going to be held according to the decision of the United Nations General Assembly, will be very important for the member states. After completing his official visit to Qatar, President Paudel will return to the country on October 20.
