Pradeep Gyawali walked home refusing the vice president

Kathmandu. Pradeep Gyawali, who is claiming for the post of General Secretary, has shown his reluctance to run for the post of Vice President of UML. The new leadership of UML will be selected in the elections to be held on Tuesday. Meanwhile, two competitors of the president, KP Sharma Oli and Ishwar Pokharel group have prepared separate panels.

Gyawali's name has been announced as the vice president of the Oli Group. But according to sources, he is not interested in becoming the vice president. Gyawali had previously said that President Oli also has his claim on the post of General Secretary. He told Oli, "I will not fight above the Secretary General, I will not fight below."
Currently, Gyawali is not at the conference venue. Sources said that he is resting at home as he seems to be dissatisfied after his name was nominated as vice president.
