Power outage in Dhankuta market for 36 hours
Kathmandu. The power supply of Dhankuta, which was disrupted due to the strong wind that hit on Monday night, has partially resumed operation. Although lines have been connected in some areas, the capital region is still without electricity. According to Nepal Electricity Authority, Dhankuta Distribution Center, electricity service has been resumed in Bhedetar, Hille, Pakhribas, Mulghat and other places. It is said that the supply has been resumed in the lower part of Mahalakshmi municipality.
As a result of the storm, a pole of the 33 KV transmission line fell in Chhathar Jorpati area, causing a power outage in the Dhankuta market area. In the Nigale area of Dhankuta municipality, seven poles were broken at one place and a transformer was also damaged.
