Main News Image

Kathmandu. A separate desk will be kept in the arrival and departure hall of Tribhuvan International Airport for citizens of Nepali origin and non-resident Nepalis scattered around the world. This decision has been taken to strengthen the affinity of non-resident Nepali NRNAs and foreign nationals of Nepali origin towards the Nepali language, culture and Nepali soil and to promote tourism and investment in Nepal, which has been informed by the Immigration Department.

The department has written to the Tribhuvan International Airport office on Sunday to manage separate desks in the arrival and departure hall of the airport. For this, the Association of Nepali Origin ANO, an organization of citizens of Nepali origin around the world, had been drawing the attention of the Nepalese government for a long time. The organization welcomed the home administration's decision on Sunday.
