No personal interest in deal with Indian company: Kulman

Kathmandu. Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Kulman Ghising has complained that confusion has been spread about the agreement made with the Indian company PTC.
He said that such an agreement was made 'for winter power management'. He claimed that this decision was not made for personal interest, setting or illegitimate reasons but in the interest of the nation and Nepal Electricity Authority.

He said, "Some confusion has been spread about the agreement made with the Indian company PTC for the power management of the upcoming winter season. I want to say clearly that this decision was not made for any personal interest, setting or illegitimate reasons, but in the interest of the nation and the Nepal Electricity Authority.
According to him, our system based on river flow requires export in rainy season and some import in dry season.
