Nepali injured in Qatar explosion

Kathmandu. A Nepali citizen was also injured in the massive explosion at the gas processing plant in the Ras Lafan industrial city of Qatar.  It has been confirmed that 13 people died in the incident. According to the Times of India, 12 Indian citizens are among the dead.

According to local media, citizens of India, Qatar, Tanzania, Pakistan, Guinea, Bangladesh, Kenya and Nigeria were injured in the blast. So far, 66 injured people are being treated and none of them are life-threatening, officials said.

According to Qatar Energy, the state-owned energy company of Qatar, there was an explosion and fire at the Barzan gas plant during the commissioning of the gas supply facility. Details of the incident continue to come.
