More than 2000 drivers in action in Kathmandu valley in one day
Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours in the valley, 2 thousand 76 motorists who violated the traffic rules have been taken into action by the traffic police.
According to Naresh Prasad Subedi, Spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office and Superintendent of Police Naresh Prasad Subedi, 129 people who violated the rules for 'ride sharing', 139 people who did not follow lane discipline, and 126 people who violated traffic lights were among those who were prosecuted.
Similarly, 189 people driving vehicles at high speed, 124 people honking in prohibited areas, 68 people driving under the influence of alcohol, 85 people parking on the sidewalk, and 59 drivers driving on one-way one-way roads have come under the scope of action. Apart from these, 1,157 drivers who did not follow the traffic rules were also detained by the traffic police.
