Monday is Lord Shiva's special day, how to worship?
Kathmandu. Monday 18th July 2083 3rd August 2026 Panchami Tithi of Saun Krishna Paksha. According to Hindu scriptures, Monday is Lord Shiva's special day. On this day, Lord Shiva is also worshiped by fasting.
The Monday fast dedicated to Shiva begins with sunrise and ends with sunset. Food is eaten after the evening aarti. Shiva and Parvati are worshiped and worshiped during the day. But worship of Ganesha is mandatory before any worship. Fasting on Monday is believed to fulfill people's desires and aspirations. That is how knowledge is acquired.
