Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has directed all concerned to refund the illegally collected fees to the students. The ministry issued a statement on Wednesday and directed some institutional schools to return the amount due to complaints that some institutional schools are enrolling students before the start of the academic session 2083 and charging fees in excess of the approved standards, contrary to the prevailing law and the order of the respected Supreme Court.

The ministry said, "Regarding the action process, requests have been made to all concerned and basically all local levels through the press release of this ministry dated 208222, 2082.
