Meetings cannot be held in Tundikhel for the time being

Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to construct a grassy field in the southern part of Tundikhel on the south side of Sainik Manch. The Public Works Department of the city has issued a notification and said that the construction work will start from the 8th of Chait. Under the approved budget and program of the financial year 2082-83 of the metropolitan city, a grass field is going to be constructed at that place.
After the construction work starts, festivals, sports activities, gatherings and other public events organized in the area will be affected, according to the metropolis.
