Jhalnath Khanal was ranked third in the Nepali Communist Party

Kathmandu. It has been agreed to place Jhalnath Khanal, the senior leader of CPN Unified Socialists, in the third priority in the Nepali Communist Party, which will be announced on Wednesday after the unity of the 10 parties. According to the sources, in the discussion between Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and other top leaders on Wednesday morning, it was agreed to keep Khanal in the third priority.

Earlier, it was said that Bamdev Gautam's name was in front for the post. However, Khanal, who was dissatisfied with the unity process between the various constituents, finally agreed and participated in the declaration meeting organized at Bhrikutimandap. In the new party, Prachanda will be first, Madhav Kumar Nepal second, Jhalnath Khanal third, Bamdev Gautam fourth and Narayankaji Shrestha fifth.
