Kathmandu. In some parts of the country, there is a possibility of storm with rain today. There will be high heat in some places. It has been raining in some areas including Kathmandu since last night. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it will be cloudy in the afternoon in Kosi, Wagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Himalayan and hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province. Partly cloudy will occur in the Terai region of Lumbini and Far West region.
There is a chance of moderate to moderate rain and snow with thunder and lightning at some places in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Kosi, Wagmati and Gandaki Provinces, Terai of Madhes, Kosi, Wagmati and Gandaki Provinces and few places in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a couple of places in Terai region of Lumbini region. It is likely to be a hot day in the Terai region of Far West and Lumbini region. There is a possibility of storm in few places of Terai region of Madhes, Kosi, Wagmati and Gandaki provinces.
