Kathmandu. As 'International Friendship Day' is being celebrated around the world today on July 30, there is a special scene and extraordinary enthusiasm in major libraries and study centers of Nepal. Different from the traditional way of meeting and having fun with friends, the youth have made today's day more meaningful by sharing knowledge and enjoying reading books.
The presence of young people who gather in libraries and read together, exchange their favorite books as gifts and have deep discussions on academic subjects has extended the scope of friendship to knowledge and intellectual development rather than just entertainment.
