Inspector General Karki's instructions to police personnel to be ruthless against crime
Kathmandu. Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki has analyzed the security challenges that have emerged in the society and said that effective police must be mobilized to face such challenges by making necessary security strategies. Karki also instructed all police personnel to carry out their responsibilities professionally and be ruthless against any crime.
Inspector General of Police Karki gave the instruction to the police personnel on Monday through virtual medium from the Nepal Police Headquarters regarding current issues and police activities and work.
Inspector General of Police Karki said that it is necessary to be more active in the collection and analysis of information on criminal activities and directed to be more active in the performance of objective crime investigations, control of smuggling at border crossings, seizure of weapons, and the arrest of fugitive defendants.
He said that all police personnel should be active in addressing citizens' complaints with polite speech, speech and behavior, and he emphasized that they should provide professional, responsible and accountable police services by coordinating and cooperating with the local level and all concerned parties, as well as developing necessary security plans for security management in their respective areas.
He also instructed to adopt and implement the necessary security strategies to conduct the upcoming elections in a fear-free environment.
