In Kathmandu, 35 representatives of Vidya Paksha were selected out of 48, 3 parents became presidents
Kathmandu. In the eleventh national convention of CPN-UML, 48 representatives have been elected from 10 constituencies of Kathmandu district. The group claimed that 35 Vidya Bhandari supporters including Manikumar Phuyal, Sanukumar Shrestha, Bishnu Kumari Bhusal, Dr. Vijay Chalise, Vishwaram Shrestha, Uddhav Kharel were elected from Kathmandu.
According to CPN UML Kathmandu district president Deepak Niraula, Ganesh Dulal, Bishnu Kumari Bhusal, Ram Prasad Omagai and Safal Shrestha are from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1. Similarly, there are number 2 Maniram Phuyal, Sanukumar Shrestha, Navraj Dahal, Shobha Karki and Shanta Thapa. Kalpana Rajchal, Isadevi Gurung, Shyamakrishna Karmacharya, Vishwaraj Shrestha and Dr. Vidur Chalise have been elected from Constituency No. 3.
Sector No. 4 has Uddhav Kharel, Shri Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Katuwal, Sunita Gurung and Saraswati Karki. Dhruvraj Pandey, Ratna Gurung, Ramkrishna Shrestha, Amber Dangol are from the number five area. Vishwanath Lamichhane, Krishna Prasad Adhikari, Devimaya Acharya, Binda Budhathoki and Shyamakrishna Maharjan are from area number 6. All unopposed representatives were elected from this region. From number 7 are Prakash Shrestha, Jeevan Manandhar, Purnima Shrestha, Sapna Aryal and Pramesh Dhimal. Purnima and Sapna were elected unopposed from this region.
Similarly, there are Rajesh Shakya, Shankar KC, Sushila Adhikari, Bablu Sivakoti from Region 8. Keshav Prasad Pokharel, Uttam Bahadur Raut, Purnakumar Tandukar, Ranju Khadka and Sanumaiya Khadka have been selected from 9.
Prem Bahadur Shahi, Mahesh Tamang, Santosh Khadka, Lakshmi Luintel Kafle and Vasanthi Shrestha have been selected from zone number 10. All are unopposed from this area as well. Bhakta Darnal has been selected on the Dalit side.
Meanwhile, the three district presidents of Kathmandu Valley, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu, were not selected as representatives. They say that they chose representatives by playing the role of parents and giving opportunities to others.
