Kathmandu. Door-to-door passport distribution service started by the government has been started in 14 districts so far. According to the Department of Postal Services, 311 passports have been delivered to the respective recipients' homes so far.
Similarly, the service has been expanded with agreements with districts including Gulmi, Dadeldhura, Jhapa, Sindhupalchok, Kalikot, Makwanpur, Bajhang, Kaski, Morang, Dhankuta and Baitadi, while in other districts, the process of distributing passports after receiving them from the district administration office has been started. All the district administration offices have started collecting the addresses of the customers coming to make passports.
