Kathmandu.  Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has said that if the elections are held in a peaceful environment, UML is ready to go among the people and get a majority. On Thursday, President Oli distributed honors and certificates to the volunteers who participated in the National Convention in Kathmandu and said that although they are in favor of the restoration of the House of Representatives, if the election is held in a peaceful environment, the UML is ready to face it and get a majority among the people.

Oli said that even though they are not anti-elections, there will be no election environment in the country amid fear and insecurity. He said that even though the government was informed about security during the discussions held by the President, there was no significant change in the situation. He said that even now the work is being done to create panic in the name of Genji. President Oli emphasized that the youth should be aware of the parties that are taking the country backwards as others are trying to take advantage in the name of Genji.
