Kathmandu. Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka has said that if they do not get the authority of the Nepali Congress, they will go on a nationwide protest.
He held a press conference at the Congress Central Office, Sanepa on Friday and asked the Election Commission not to take any other decision from the Congress authorities. Khadka said, "If the Election Commission takes a wrongful decision by coming from below and falling into a conspiracy, there will be no option but to protest."
He said that they have faith in the Election Commission. However, Khadka has warned of a protest saying that the discussion that is going on outside has raised suspicions. "We should not be forced to join the movement," he said. He said that the discussion going on in the media and outside has raised doubts about the commission. "Don't make a wrong decision," said Acting Chairman Khadka. They said that they are preparing for the elections responsibly. However, he warned that if there is a wrong decision, he will leave the election and start a protest.
