Hearing on the petition against the dissolution of the House of Representatives from today
Kathmandu. The 16 writ petitions filed in the Supreme Court against the dissolution of the House of Representatives are being heard from today. According to Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the preliminary hearing will be held on the petitions filed demanding the appointment of the Prime Minister and the cancellation of the dissolution of the Parliament and the restoration of the Parliament.
In all the writ petitions that the appointment of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the Prime Minister and the dissolution of the House of Representatives were unconstitutional, the decision taken by President Ramchandra Paudel has been requested to be corrected. In some writ petitions to be submitted to the Constitutional Bench, there is also a demand for an order for action against the outgoing Prime Minister and Home Minister who played a role in suppressing the Gen-G movement.
