Government's preparation to make AIG Paudel IGP of Armed Police
Kathmandu. The government is preparing to appoint AIG Narayanadatta Poudel as IGP of Armed Police Force APF. The process of selecting a new leadership has been started before the four-year tenure of the current chief Raju Aryal ends on May 18.
According to Ministry of Home Affairs sources, Aryal has asked for a new leadership to be elected before the end of his tenure, with the aim of establishing an institutional system. Based on this, there is a possibility that Paudel will be appointed IGP for the next term from the cabinet meeting held today.
