Kathmandu. A young man who assaulted the police stationed in Pashupati on Shivratri has been arrested. District Police Complex Kathmandu team arrested 25-year-old Rijan Shrestha from Makwanpur. He was living in Kathmandu.
A video of him assaulting the police stationed in Pashupati was released on Shivratri. But when the police could not identify him, they released his photo and asked for help in identifying him. District Police Complex, Kathmandu Spokesperson SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai informed that Rejjan was arrested from Swayambhu after being identified. Bhattarai said that further investigation is underway by keeping him in custody.
