Girl killed, one injured in elephant attack

Kanchanpur. In Kanchanpur, a girl has died and one person has been injured in an elephant attack. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hem Bahadur Shahi, Spokesperson of District Police Office Kanchanpur, the six-year-old daughter of Saud, Rozina Saud, was killed when an elephant attacked the house of Kisan Singh Saud of Chandev located in Laljhandi rural municipality-6 of the district.

Last night, a wild elephant attacked Saud's house. Saud's 55-year-old mother Parvati Saud was injured while fleeing after an elephant attacked her home. The injured have been referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment. According to spokesperson Shahi, the injured six-year-old Rozina died at Navjeevan Hospital in Dhangadhi during treatment.
