According to the information given by Devkota to the media, the RSVP had not paid the house rent for 10 months till that date. According to Devkota, an agreement was reached on the monthly rent of Rs.350,000. Devkota Party President Ravi Lamichhane was appointed as an expert advisor when he was the Home Minister for the second time. In place of Devkota, who is currently in America, RSVP has appointed another person as the chairman of the Disciplinary Commission. Devkota's house was shifted to Vanasthali as the RSVP office in Bashundhara was too small during its establishment.
