Fourth extension of Pokhara-Muglin road project

Kaski. Pokhara-Muglin road upgrading project has been extended for the fourth time. After the deadline extended for the third time has passed, the project has been given the final deadline till the 10th of November.

According to Krishna Bahadur Kumbar, Project Chief of Muglin-Pokhara Road Project, West Section, the previously extended deadline was till June 15th, but the time was extended again as the construction could not be completed. He claimed that the work will be completed within the specified period, mentioning that the added time is now final.

The 38.71 km road from Jamune in Tanahun to Setipul in Pokhara under the Prithviraj Marg upgradation project started five years ago with the loan support of Asian Development Bank ADB is in the western section. In this area, a six-lane road is being constructed in the market and a four-lane road in the hilly areas. According to the project, 82.37 percent physical progress has been made so far.
