Advice to candidates by the Election Commission: Do not delay in opening a bank account

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has advised the House of Representatives candidates not to delay in opening bank accounts. In a press conference held on Friday, the commission informed all the candidates that they have to spend from this account to make their election expenses transparent, so the remaining candidates should be careful to open their accounts immediately.

Election Commission Assistant Spokesperson Sita Pun Sris said that due to the public holidays, some candidates may find it uncomfortable to open accounts, but they have warned them not to delay. He said that banks should also make it easier for candidates to open accounts, according to the instructions of the commission.
