Former King Gyanendra Shah's serious concern after the tension in Koshi and Terai: Issued a special message of harmony and unity
Kathmandu. Expressing grief over the violent incident in Sunsari, former King Gyanendra Shah urged all Nepalis to maintain social harmony, unity and mutual tolerance.
In a message issued on Thursday, he expressed his concern over the loss of life and property due to conflicts and disputes in some villages of Sunsari and its effects spread to Koshi region and other parts of Terai.
Former King Shah mentioned that Nepal is a country known for social harmony and coexistence between different communities and said that such unwanted incidents are against the country's fundamental values and beliefs. He urged all the communities of the country to contribute to building a peaceful environment by maintaining mutual understanding, restraint and unity.
