Extension of night service of common transport, 28 electric buses in operation on 6 routes
Kathmandu. Night time public transport service has now been added in Kathmandu Valley. By extending the night bus service, Common Transport has launched 28 electric buses on 6 routes from Saturday. On the occasion of the Constitution Day, common transport has extended the night service which is currently in operation. According to the company, the service which was previously limited to two routes will now be operated to reach more areas of the valley.
According to Bhupendra Aryal, Chief Executive Officer of Common Transport, night bus service was started in Kathmandu Valley from May 1. In the initial phase, four more routes are going to be added to the service which is being operated on two routes.
