Establishment of Response Base for Monsoon Disaster Mitigation

Baitadi As the time of active monsoon is approaching, the Armed Police Force of Nepal has established a temporary monsoon response base in Baitadi to minimize the damage that may be caused by natural disasters.

A temporary monsoon response base was established at Purchaundi Municipality-1 Hat in the district on Friday. Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Jung Bahadur Kunwar of Armed Police Force No. 51 Gulm Headquarters, Baitadi, informed that the base has been established to effectively rescue and relieve citizens affected by disasters such as floods, landslides, and fires.
