Kathmandu. Candidates have to transact through a separate bank account to keep the details of the expenses of the by-election correct. Nepal Rastra Bank has instructed banks and financial institutions to make arrangements for opening bank accounts for election purposes. Following the request of the Election Commission, the Central Bank through a letter requested to arrange the arrangements for opening bank accounts.

It has been mentioned that the bank account can be opened on the recommendation of the State Election Office and District Election Office under the commission, so that it will be operated until the commission closes the bank account. An account has been opened so that the income and expenses of the General Election Campaign Group can be transacted in Nepali currency.
