Kathmandu. Students protested against the high prices on Thursday at Maitighar in Kathmandu. On Thursday, the United Students' Organization protested against the government at Maitighar in Kathmandu, saying that the prices had increased. They protested demanding the government to cancel the tax on petroleum products, adjust the prices and announce a relief package for the people.
They carried placards with slogans such as 'Balen Sarkar, price increase gift, burden of war, tax burden, Janata ta mare ni Sarkar, Bachna de Sarkarka, minister's gold, people don't eat salt, new government, tax gift thank you', etc.
