Deepak Kumar Shah recommended as the Minister of Industry, preparation for swearing-in today evening
Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has recommended the name of Deepak Kumar Shah, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Sunsari Region No. 4, for the vacant post of Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister.
The Prime Minister has decided to give Shah the responsibility of the vacant ministry after the resignation of the outgoing Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav on Thursday afternoon. With the acceptance of the resignation of Yadav, who was appointed as minister on 27 March 2082, the new appointment process has been started.
According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat and sources, the recommendation letter appointing Shah as a minister has been sent to the President's Office, and preparations are underway to take the oath today at 6 pm. Shah became MP after defeating the former finance minister and Nepali Congress leader Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
