Decision to blacklist 9 construction companies including Kancharam

Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has decided to blacklist 9 builders and suppliers including Kancharam Construction Company Pvt Ltd. The office under the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers informed through a notification on Thursday that it has been decided to blacklist according to subsection 1 of section 63 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063 based on the recommendations of various public bodies. 

It is said that the blacklisted builders and suppliers will not be able to participate in the procurement process of any public body for the specified period with effect from the date of publication of the notification.

Kancharam Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. has been blacklisted for 1 year. Similarly, Capital Enterprises has been blacklisted for 6 months.

Artic Construction and Green World Construction have been blacklisted for 1 year each. Similar advance – Longvision – Dhanalakshmi J.V. The following construction companies have been blacklisted for 6 months to 1 year.  Marseille construction services have also been blacklisted for 1 year, the office said.

According to the Public Procurement Monitoring Office, the blacklisted companies will not be allowed to participate in any contracts, supplies or consulting services related to public bodies during the specified period.
