Curfew extended in Birganj till 1 pm today

The district administration office in Birganj has added a curfew order from 8 am to 1 pm today. Earlier, curfew was imposed from 6 pm on Monday to Tuesday morning. According to Bhola Dahal, chief district officer of Parsa, four forts have been designated within the Birgunj metropolitan area and movement, meetings, processions and demonstrations are completely prohibited. Curfew has been enforced from Buspark to Sirsiapul, Powerhouse Chowk to Shankaracharya Gate area.

The administration has asked not to go out of the house except for essential service vehicles during the curfew period and to coordinate with the security personnel in case of going out.
