Congress President Thapa does not look at the relatives and leaders of people involved in corruption

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Chairman Gagan Kumar Thapa has expressed the goal of his party to make the country corruption-free within the next five years. President Thapa said at the 'Hamro Pratigiya Tapaiko Question' program held today at the National Assembly in Kathmandu, Congress does not look at the relationship or position of people who are involved in corruption. Whoever, be it the chairman or a person in any position, if he has committed corruption, he has no right to hold public office.
He also announced that he will investigate the corruption of the leaders of any party since 2047. In addition, Thapa emphasized that the government service system should be made citizen-centric rather than office-centric.
