Commission instructions not to publish Dhanusha 1 vote results
Kathmandu. The Election Commission has sent a letter to the election officer's office not to announce the results of Dhanusha 1. The commission had decided to cancel the candidature of Kishori Shah Kamal, the candidate of Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSVP on February 18. Kamal approached the Supreme Court against the said decision. In this regard, the Commission has instructed not to announce the results of the first election system of Dhanusha 1 until the order is received from the court.
Currently, counting of votes is going on in Dhanusha-1. During the counting of votes, a significant number of votes are coming in favor of Kamal, whose candidature was rejected, according to sources in the election officer's office. In this area, there is competition between Matrika Yadav of Nepali Communist Party CPN, Ram Paltan Shah of Nepali Congress and Ramchandra Mandal of CPN UML.
