Butwal-Narayangadh road still blocked

Nawalparasi The Butwal-Narayangadh road section, which has been blocked since Friday, has not been fully operational. Transport services were affected after the road became slippery and muddy in the lower section located in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2, east of Nawalparasi Bardghat Susta under East-West Highway.
Yuvraj Khadka, Superintendent of Police, Nawalparasi Bardghat Susta East District Police Office, said that even though the winter rains have stopped, the movement of vehicles is facing difficulties due to the frozen mud on the roads and the flow of mud from the hills. Superintendent of Police Khadka informed that the road in the area around Ghiukhola and Vishwakarma Mandir in Downne is muddy and slippery and the vehicles are not able to climb uphill and get stuck in the middle of the road.
