Blood donation on the eve of Traffic Week 2082

Kathmandu. On the eve of Accident Reduction Special Campaign and Traffic Week 2082, Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has organized a blood donation program at Ramshahpath on Friday for the support of road accident victims.

One hundred and 39 people donated blood in the blood donation program. In the program, Chief Police Senior Superintendent of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office Navraj Adhikari started the program by donating the first blood. In which the police personnel working in Kathmandu Valley, armed police, metropolitan police and others also donated blood. With the technical support of Nepal Police Hospital, a blood donation program was organized at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office premises.

From Saturday, the 'Accident Reduction Special Campaign and Traffic Week 2082' will be operational until January 3rd. Naresh Raj Subedi, Spokesman of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, informed that there will be various traffic-related programs on the occasion of teaching pedestrians to cross the road safely, public awareness programs targeting two-wheelers, college and school contact programs, and awareness programs for drivers and operators of vehicles at night.
